Located in Melbourne’s prestigious Parkville Biomedical Precinct, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) takes cancer care and research to the next level.
The $1 billion, 130,000-square-metre purpose-built centre is home to cancer research, clinical services and educational facilities for Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne Health and the University of Melbourne.
The complex HVAC needs were met through a collaborative approach of Fantech, Air Design and Airepure.
This made better use of equipment and time, and ensured the challenging job progressed smoothly.
More than 300 MODUtherm and almost 200 SM series Air Handling Units from Air Design were chosen for their quality and reliability.
They were installed throughout the facility for both clinical and research spaces including critical operating theatres, PC3 suites and CBCT areas.
Fantech fans and high performance filters from Airepure were also supplied.
