Completed in mid-2015 this major redevelopment of St Giles Launceston was to cater for expansion of services.
Redevelopment of therapy centre for the delivery of allied health and family support services in Northern Tasmania. Children/teens with severe disabilities such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, down syndrome and autism are the major users of the service.
The centre was specially designed for physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and visiting paediatric specialists to deliver family centred therapies to clients aged from birth to 18 years.
Major features include, internal street, large group room, sensory room, orthotics, feeding clinic, observation rooms & display bath.
SM Series Air Handling Units were installed to ensure a healthy indoor environment for the therapy centre’s occupants.
