The Old Treasury Precinct is located in one of Perth’s major CBD blocks and is bound by St Georges Terrace to the south, Hay Street to the north, Barrack Street to the west and Pier Street to the east.
This location holds some of Perth’s most historic buildings and, as a collective, is Western Australia’s most important heritage precinct.
To the south of the site at ground level sits a collection of buildings that are nestled between magnificently manicured heritage listed parklands including the Supreme Court Gardens and Stirling Gardens. The buildings include the Supreme Court of WA and Government House.
This heritage precinct has created a vista from the OTB ( Old Treasury Building ) that affords complete panoramic views of the Stirling Gardens through to the Swan River making this view one of the most unique and impressive in the Perth CBD which will never be built out.
